About Gemma
Gemma started writing for film and television in 2015, and made her first sale with her original ensemble female comedy feature script, UNDERGRADS, to New Regency Studios.
Since then she has sold television pilots to ABC, NBC, ABC Signature, Bravo and Amazon, and sold her original one-hour drama spec RELATIVITY to Universal in a blind deal. Her half-hour comedy spec FILTHY LIAR was awarded best comedy in the WGA's Made In NY screenwriting competition. It was subsequently optioned by Hat Trick (UK) with Julie Anne Robinson of Canny Lads attached to direct.
Gemma is also an author published with Macmillan and Harper Collins. Her five novels have been translated into seven languages and published in over 20 countries.
